U Mamma Prenatal Yoga

 

 

 

Wednesday Nights - 7.30pm to 9.00pm

 

 

 

Classes

Classes are suitable for mid pregnancy and late pregnancy – 15 weeks onwards.  If you are over 15 weeks pregnant you can join at any time.  You must book and pay for your place in advance.  Class numbers are limited; however, extra classes may be arranged - subject to demand.  Classes run on an ongoing basis. 

 

 

Regain flexibility and strength with particular attention to muscles stressed during childbirth. 

   

·         Time for You - to de-stress and experience the proven benefits of Yoga designed specifically for pregnancy. 

·         Support for Your Pregnancy, Labour & Recovery - by teaching you breathing & relaxation techniques.

·         Individual Attention - by limiting class numbers to ensure that you receive individual attention.

 

Pregnancy is a wonderful time to discover the benefits of yoga. Pregnancy brings many changes, both physically and emotionally.  Pregnancy classes devote time to adapting to these changes.  Mothers-to-be learn about how to use the breath to slow down and embrace these changes.  The breath can be the main tool in labour.

 

Yoga movement is designed to take the pressure of the baby off the spine during pregnancy and in labour.  Women who do these classes rarely suffer from high blood pressure and learn movements that help with indigestion and heartburn.  The classes help support and encourage each mother to realize their own inner strength and encourage a deepening of the connection between mother and baby.


 

Cost

€175 - 8 week course.    €87.50 - 4 week course. (To be booked and paid for in advance).

 

After week 36 classes can be booked individually at 25 per class

 

U Mamma Prenatal Pilates

Tuesday Nights - 7pm to 8pm

 

Classes

During pregnancy, a women’s posture changes dramatically in response not only to the growing baby, but also to hormonal factors. The result can be decreased energy levels, aches and pains on your body and breathlessness.

U Mamma Pilates Plus is a prenatal exercise programme based on Pilates and designed to:

  •  strengthen and lengthen muscles safely 
  •  alleviate all pregnancy related symptoms 
  •  improve sleep patterns 
  •  increase energy levels 
  •  prepare for labour 
  •  relax

U Mamma Postnatal Pilates
 
Thursday Nights - 7pm to 8pm
 
Classes
An exceptional programme for new mums who want to get back in to shape after giving birth and ready for the challenges of motherhood.
 
U Mamma Postnatal Pilates will:
  • Strengthen back and abdominal muscles.
  • Strengthen pelvic floor muscles.
  • Lengthen body muscles safely.
  • Increase energy levels.
  • Help you to relax
