Medela Breast Pumps are the only pumps available to offer true, researched based, 2-Phase Expression^® technology.  This technology mimics a baby’s nursing rhythm.  Medela’s breakthrough 2-Phase Expression^® pumping program offers an initial rapid rhythm to promote the let down (of milk) and then a slower, deeper rhythm for efficient milk expression.  Other pumps may claim to have this technology but it is not in the same context as the explanation above.
